New stuff

November 7th, 2006 - Written by in News

There’s been a bunch of interesting GWT stuff announced over the past couple of days.

  • GWT Widget Library 0.1.3 released. The new features include a number formatting tool, pagination support and TinyMCEEditor wrapper.
  • Pyjamas – A Python port of GWT. Use Python instead of Java for your GWT development. Sounds kind of interesting.
  • Luca Masini has written up an updated blog entry on his GWT Comet implementation.
  • ContactOffice.com is a site written using GWT.
  • gtraffic.info is another GWT site which integrats Google maps to show UK traffic info. Where’s the Bay Area version? :)

GWT Roundtable Podcast

October 17th, 2006 - Written by in News

The Java Posse this past Sunday put their GWT Roundtable podcast online. It features three members of the GWT community, Bruce Johnson (GWT tech lead), Robert Hanson (GWT Widget Library creator) and Ryan Dewsbury (Gpokr.com creator).

Downloading the podcast seems kind of slow, so be patient.
