The very cool was released yesterday by Sanjiv Jivan. It supports the latest Ext 1.1.1 library and the GWT 1.4 final release. There are a bunch of new features including drag and drop support and a host of new Tree widget capabilities including:
- Asynchronous loading of Tree data from Json and XML
- Tree Filtering
- Tree Sorting
- Tree Drag and Drop
- Checkbox nodes and easy styling of nodes

The GWT team has been working hard, figuring out the best way to create GWT applications that are optimized for the iPhone. They’ve written an article titled where they discuss some of the issues and best practices for creating good looking GWT applications on the device. The result of their work is the . I wish they had chosen another example since the already works pretty well on my iPhone. Still, it looks quite nice and hopefully will spur the development of cooler apps. I know I’ll be taking a closer look!

Giancarlo Todone has created a slick looking game called PlayPlate that demos his GWT Animation Kit. Hopefully his library available for public consumption because it looks quite impressive.
