Ext GWT 1.1 Release
September 18th, 2008 - Written by in News
Just saw on the ExtJS blog this morning that the new version of Ext GWT has been released. One of the new features is the new Grid component which now supports the same features as the Ext JS Grid, and supports plugins for adding additional functionality, grouping and an EditableGrid for inline editing. The new Portal container allows you to create your own iGoogle type personalized homepage and Web Desktop enables you to create your own multi-window applications. There’s even a new theme called Slate that looks very slick.
Take a look at the new Ext GWT Samples application to see examples of all the different components that Ext GWT has to offer. Ext GWT is released under a dual licensed model (GPL v3 and Commercial). If you’re interested in using it for any commercial projects, check out our Biggest Ever GWT Giveaway Contest. Thanks to the guys at ExtJS, you could get a chance to win one of 5 developer licenses of Ext GWT for absolutely free.
This is amazing! This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for!
